Anxiety Therapy
Does this sound like you?
Having multiple thoughts going on inside your head that cause you to feel overwhelmed?
Feeling a sense of impending doom on a daily basis?
Having the need to always say “yes” to everything because of a fear you have about letting others down?
Are a chronic overscheduler because of a need to “go above and beyond” all the time?
Feeling physically tense to the point that you want to run away?
I get it.
It’s so tiring to always feel like you have to be prepared for the worst case scenario. As a recovered perfectionist, it’s not easy to just “ignore” that anxious feeling. But it is possible to manage it so that you can be the best person you can be without going above and beyond.
Anxiety is something that we all need to keep the human population going. Without it, we wouldn’t be here in the present moment (yes, pun intended). But sometimes, our anxiety goes into overdrive trying to detect any threat at all that causes us to forget to enjoy the present and always thinking about the “what-ifs”.
That’s where our work begins…
Whether you’ve had anxiety from the moment you were born or are currently experiencing it because of something that recently happened, it is possible to manage it. It’s all about learning the right tools:
Learning what anxiety is and the purpose of it
Feeling okay when those intrusive thoughts pop into your head
Riding the wave of that dreadful feeling
Challenging those “what-ifs”
